We love this Hotel! Very clean, steps from the beach, parking garage for your vehicle, a roof top pool, a little gym, love the double doors in the rooms. The rooms have a safe, iron and ironing board, hairdryer,microwave and mini frig w/ small freezer. Also love the adjoining room for when my kids and grandkids come with us.There are a few restaurants right across the street like Rusty Rudder, The lighthouse right next to the Rudder and Nalu right beside gold leaf and the other restaurants are only like 2 blocks to walk to! The staff is super friendly!! We have stayed at other Hotels closer to the town restaurants and bars, however nowhere near as nice nor have the friendly staff! We alway go back to The Goldleaf and will continue to only book there!

Do not know if it was Expedia or the place but the initial booking was a mess… the girl was trying to be helpful and stated that she would refund our first night but have not received any communications…. If you want “economy” in ever since of the word… no extra pillows walls are thin you can hear everyone’s conversations…. However the location is awesome… very convenient for walking to the inlet…. There is no elevator so pack light and they are held together by plywood
